Subject School

Science

Science education usually includes subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, and sometimes environmental science. Practical components are often included to enhance learning.

Social Studies

The social studies curriculum covers a variety of subjects including history, geography, civics, literature, Sanskrit science, and sociology.

Bengali Language

Bengali is the official and most widely spoken language in Bangladesh. Students also learn foreign languages, reading, writing, grammar in Bengali.

Mathematics

Mathematics education covers several topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, linear, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics.

Classroom Structure

Teacher's Area

The front of the classroom is designated as the teacher's area, where the teacher's desk is located. The teacher's area is also a place to teach and explain lessons to students, such as textbooks, teaching aids.

Blackboard/Whiteboard

High school classrooms in Bangladesh are equipped with whiteboards or projectors, sometimes both. Teachers use whiteboards/projectors to write or draw teaching materials, diagrams, explain equations and other relevant information during learning.

Student Desks

Student desks are typically individual desks or benches that accommodate one or two students. The desks are usually arranged in neat rows, with enough space between them to allow students to move around comfortably.
